Well, I'm enjoying my time in Ardmore. It's great to be amongst a church community that has a real family feel to it.
I am staying in a classic American motel, and it's been nice to have some space to get over my jetlag (and a cold that I am fighting back!) I personally prefer to stay with people, as it helps you to get to know each other, but this has definitely been God's doing and I am grateful for it. :-)
So.....I taught at a Christian school yesterday, that is headed by Andy and Jami Rudd (the pastors of Harvest church where I am being hosted). I taught on hearing God's voice, and it went really well. The children were all very attentive, even when we had a time of listening to God's voice. They are great kids! (They are also fascinated by my Brit accent!)
In the evening we had a time of fellowship and talked about the BURN, which will take place on Saturday. I will be teaching at the BURN and then also leading worship and helping some of the teams during the day.
I thought you might like to see the extremely cute little girl who is probably going to take over my job as drummer!!!

Hello! Gemma here, following your new blog now. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like it's going great so far! You video doesn't seem to be working though, which is a shame as the little girl looks so cute! I'm sure she's an excellent drummer. :P
Look forward to seeing you again soon! :)
